Is violent protest and rallies really the right move to make? Baltimore is in a major disarray over the death of Freddie grant who died in police custody on April 19, 2015. Its unclear how the 25 year old sustained injuries to his spine but its believed it was due to police brutality allegedly. Yet and still, is violence the correct action? Is destroying a city, throwing rocks and loitering going to save the community? I know some may mean well but all we are seeing is the same violence being continued and nothing being fixed. There has to be another way to get a point across……. or maybe there isn’t.
It is crazy how after a sporting event riots are created by fans of loosing or winning teams but it doesn’t get this much media attention at all. Why do you think that is? They also are not showing where parts of the city have positive protesters in the community. Its not all violent in Baltimore.
I want to hear what people have to say.
HOW DO YOU THINK WE CAN SPREAD THE WORD IN A POSITIVE MANNER?
DO YOU FEEL VIOLENCE IS THE WAY?
WHAT ARE YOUR FEELINGS ABOUT THE RIOT?
